Mounts Fairview (2744m) and Bourgeau (2931m) in Banff National Park are two peaks on which I recently got fast times. Neither mountain is particularly notable except for being popular; possessing good quality of trails and great scenery, and previously existing fast times. Both records were held by Steve Tober, though there may be faster times out there. Steve's ascent time on Fairview from Lake Louise to the summit is 1h05m; his ascent time on Bourgeau from the parking lot to the summit is 2h29m. I'm not aware of round-trip times for either. On October 1, 2014 I ran from Lake Louise to the summit of Fairview in 52min and descended back to the lake in 1h21m round-trip. Movescount LinkOn October 9, 2014 I ran from the Bourgeau parking lot to the summit in 1h51m and reached the parking lot again in 3h14m round-trip. Movescount LinkGood times all-round
