Peter - Matt Hart is currently on record pace for the CT. He is 10 miles ahead of Basham's splits. Do you know if anyone else is currently attempting speed record?

Wow! I've hiked the DP dozens of times over the years (I grew up a few miles from the eastern trailhead) and only once managed to complete the entire trail in a day. Ben's accomplishment here cannot be understated - an amazing feat that will stand as a challenge to others for years to come.  |

Hi,
I will make an unsupported attempt at the Franconia loop tomorrow. My goal is to be under 2hours for the whole loop. I bring a GPS watch as proof of the timing.

Hi, I will attemp a Fastest Known Time - Friday 8th of september I will attemp a FKT a total of 8 times up and 8 times down on Alpe d'Huez, supported. I will start on the top of Alpe d'Huez and run to the valley, through the famous 21 Bendt. I will run up to the top again, and I will do this trip 16 times up and down in one go. The distance is 140 miles, and has a cumulative vertical gain of 29,396 feet of climb and 29,396 feet of descent, for a total elevation change of 58,792 feet.

Bruce Trail FKT-2017 On sept 1/17 at 5:30am I left the northern terminus in Tobermory and arrived in Niagara at the southern Terminus on sept 11/17 at 2:44am. Total time 9days,21hrs,14minutes. I carried a DeLorme inreach tracker and GPS watch. Also took manual coordinates log at crew meeting spots. It is looking more and more like any and all Kelly Agnew FKTs with any ounce of questionable data should be removed from the FKT record books.
