Intend to run TCT on Tue July 8 2014 (37.2mi). Unsupported run. Start time approx 7am.
Also running Hermit Gulch Trail out and back (1.7 each way) on Thu Jul 10.

Hermit Gulch Trail 34mins 10sec
Start 12:00pm

Is that finishing at hermits gulch camp grounds Or finishing at end of Rentons mine road @ the east end?

Trans Catalina Trail was Renton Mine Rd to Starlight beach, Hermit Gulch was from trailhead @ campground to top where the benches are & back

Finally got around to a thru HIKE ,unsupported.Rentons mine to Starlight. 12:26:13.

Hey, I intend to attempt the FKT from Renton Mine Rd. to Starlight Beach on Sat. Nov. 28 2015. It will be unsupported and I intend to start at 6:30 am. Any tips/advice greatly appreciated!

Are you aiming to do it all in one day like I did? If so you'll run out of daylight that time of the year.
I live here, so I can give some info for water stops.Once at the end you'll have to hike back or get a ride from parsons landing.

Hey, update on my attempt, stuff came up and i cant run it until the 22nd or 23rd of december. Still going for it and will have to run in the dark, and I will try to beat the 8:20 that the last peron ran it in.
