I did skyline trail the other day... amazing! I was able to hike jog and take videos and photos and talk to several people in 3:04 to that notch you speak of and 3:09 to the tram. I think someone should do this in 2:10 or under... COME ON FAST DUDES!!! GET OUT THERE!!
Also you guys talk about the right trail and cutting switch backs etc... there are no signs on the trail so how about whoever gets to the top fastest... Anytime i felt I got off the main trail it felt like it was harder. I love this trail. I was surprised at how runnable it is until about 6300 ft then its just a power hike while youre anerobic at altitude. what a great fitness test! Good on you all

Hi everyone, not sure if there is an official female FKT on this route, but yesterday (March 3, 2018), completed the Skyline trail in 2:56:22. I ran to the thermometer at the tram station. You'll see a few add-ons where I took wrong turns in my GPS file, but it only added additional distance. 2:51:47 to the sign at Grubb's Notch. Trail is in great shape, I had an awesome time! - Lindsay Webster GPS track
