Gavin, I was up there on July 31 too! Couldn't believe it. Made it up Bamforth in 1:34:XX - wasn't wearing GPS. Huge improvement for me, and I thought it was a pretty good time until I hopped on here and saw all the recent activity! Good on all of you! Can't wait to get back there - and maybe bring out the GPS again! Josh Very cool, Josh! The 30th was a really fun experience, having three of us out there (and knowing that Tom might be out there the next day!). Let me know the next time you're in town and we should head out in the mountains! I might try your Worcester Range loop sometime soon; can't believe I live in Montpelier and have never run that! GB

I shaved a few minutes off the Bamforth round trip today. Perfect conditions... www.strava.com/activities/781238479That mountain gets pretty serious when the weather rolls in. Awesome trail, certainly technical, but you can get rolling on the descent. The climb is consistent, it doesn't really feel like you are gaining 4k, other than that last mile.

I love that mountain. I've never done the up-and-down (I always do the Bamforth up and then loop down the east side to the road) but will give it a shot sometime!
