On November 16th 2011 Candice Burt and I ran the Trans-Zion route in Utah unsupported. Our time was 11:47 the previous women's unsupported FKT was 13:00 by Carol Gerber. Candice posted to the FKT site on the Trans-Zion thread on Nov 17th a summary of our trip and then a few days later emailed Peter her full blog report including splits, numerous paragraphs of details, pictures and gps data of the run(excluding the data from after the gps battery died). other than a response from peter on the thread on Nov 17th "That's great, thanks for posting. What a great route! The GPS data & photos should be sufficient for verification. Thanks for considering that. I look forward to your report." we have not heard back from him nor has the Trans-Zion thread been updated to reflect the current FKT.
We appreciate that managing a site as extensive and well done as this one takes lots of time and effort. And we don't want to see m ungrateful. But Candice tried emailing him. I tried emailing him. It's been more than 4 months! I hope this gets his attention. Candice worked hard for this and deserves recognition. And to be fair to anyone else seeking a FKT they should be able to trust the site to be reasonably up to date.

I don't disagree with anything you said, but if you do an FKT for yourself first, and the world second, your panties won't be in such a wad when the recognition, fame and fortune doesn't come.
to Peter having to watch a commercial to enter a security code is just plain bogus and brings down the site about 2 levels.

My bad! I had updated my file with Candice's info, but neglected to copy that onto the Zion page. Thanks for pointing that out.
W.r.t. the ads on this site: For a year or two I paid to make the site ad-free. It is just $7/month. I also invite anyone to contribute to that, which is easy to do as per "Read This First". Only one person paid for I think 2 months. So, since I make no money off this site or the ads, I decided it wasn't worth my while to pay to keep the ads off. If users were to pony up let's say half of the $84/year I'd pay the other half.
