The Dientes de Navarino is an amazing route on Isla Navarino in Tierra Del Fuego, Chile. It is 54 km through some of the most rugged country you are ever likely to traverse. It is also considered the southern-most trek in the world, and from one place you can view Cape Horn. Wow! Just getting there is an adventure. Buzz Burrell, Stephanie Ehret, Lisa Ledet and Peter Bakwin ran the route in 11h26m (to close the loop) on February 11, 2005. More photos and info about their trip to Patagonia is here. This stood as the FKT for 10 years (and remains as the female FKT) when Kendrick Callaway did the loop in 8h32m on March 1, 2015, as reported below. This was Callaway's second run on the loop, which he had also done the year before, but in a slower time since he got lost several times.
