"24 Hours of Ray" was a loose gathering to see how many loops one could/chooses to do within 24 hours. 8AM to 8AM, 12/31/11 to 1/1/12. The loop, as measured by the Tom Harrison map of Pt Mugu State Park, shows the loop as 7.3 miles, with elevation range between (roughly) 25 to 1250 ft. One "aid station" at the parking lot that sits at the trailhead for the loop. Bill Kee did 11 loops (80.3 miles) ;D with 40 unused minutes; Mylinh Nguyen and Sue Johnston did 8 loops (58.4 miles) in 19:13 and 16:08 hours, respectively.
