Just a placeholder as I'm sure lots of people have done this faster. Route is a lollipop from the parking lot, right up Kelso Ridge to Torreys Summit, over to Grays, and back down the trail. My PR on 7/10/2011.
25m05s - Turn-off to Kelso Ridge 1h05m31s - Summit Torreys (40m26s) 1h21m09s - Summit Grays (15m38s) 1h52m47s - TH (31m37s)

Not the same route as Stefan has described, but I know Jeff Valliere has a pretty stout time for the standard lollipop loop trail ascent and descent of Grays and Torreys from the Stevens Gulch TH: jeffvalliere.blogspot.com/2008/08/monday-080408-graystorreys.htmlSplits (8/4/2008): Big Sign - 16:38 Kelso Turn-off - 21:02 Grays Summit - 54:38 Torreys Summit - 1:10:06 TH - 1:46:05 I have personally run 1:28:27 for an ascent of Grays Peak from Bakerville on 8/13/2009. Splits: Stevens Gulch TH: 32:20 Big Sign: 50:40 (18:20) Big Cairn: 1:01:35 (10:55) Trail Fork for Grays or Torreys: 1:11:40 (10:05) Grays Summit: 1:28:27 (16:47; 56:07 from Stevens Gulch TH)

On 6/27/2012, I ran the same route as Stefan describes above (lollipop loop from TH to TH, going up Kelso Ridge to the summit of Torreys, traverse over to Grays and back down to the TH) in 1:30:57.
Splits: Big Sign - 16:30 Start of Kelso Ridge - 22:35 Torreys - 52:33 Grays - 1:04:56 Big Sign - 1:21:45 TH - 1:30:57
It was dark the last 15-20min or so, but I was still able to descend quite quickly. With light the full time, it seems pretty obvious this loop could go under 1h30.

On 8/30/15, I ran the standard lollipop ascent and descent of Grays and Torreys from Bakerville. I couldn't match Jeff Valliere's very impressive time for the Stevens Gulch TH-to-TH portion, but I was able to get the Grays ascent just a bit under Anton Krupicka's 1:28:27 listed above. Also listing splits for the full Bakerville-Bakerville lollipop since I haven't seen anyone post a time for that route yet. Stevens Gulch TH — 31:09 Big Sign — 49:09 (18:00) Trail Fork — 1:10:20 (21:11) Grays — 1:27:41 (17:21, 56:32 from Stevens Gulch) Torreys — 1:45:23 (17:42) Saddle Trail Fork — 1:53:03 (7:40) Stevens Gulch TH — 2:19:20 (26:17, 1:48:11 from Stevens Gulch) Bakerville — 2:36:11 (16:51) Strava: www.strava.com/activities/381061299

On 9/6/2015, I headed back to Grays and Torreys to try the standard lollipop from Stevens Gulch instead of from Bakerville. Starting from the parking lot side of the bridge, I hit the Grays summit in 52:39 and did the full lollipop in 1:38:37. I'm confident this route can go quicker; I had to pause several times for hikers and faced a bit of frost on the rocks near the summits. Splits: Big Sign — 16:11 Trail Fork — 36:13 (20:02) Grays — 52:39 (16:26) Torreys — 1:08:03 (15:24) Saddle Fork — 1:14:04 (6:01) Trail Fork — 1:18:17 (4:13) Big Sign — 1:29:32 (11:15) TH — 1:38:37 (9:05, descent from Torreys in 30:24) Strava: www.strava.com/activities/386330032Scott Spillman

On 7/10/2016, Galen Burrell did Grays from Bakerville in ~1:26:50, which bested my own 1:27:41 by nearly a minute. So on 7/22/2016 I did a full Bakerville–Bakerville loop to see how fast I could take it. I hit the Grays summit in 1:25:08 and managed the full thing in 2:30:34. Splits: Stevens Gulch TH — 30:13 Big Sign — 47:12 (16:59) G/T Fork — 1:08:15 (21:02) Grays — 1:25:08 (16:53; 54:55 from TH) Torreys — 1:41:30 (16:22) G/T Fork — 1:53:02 (11:32) Big Sign — 2:04:16 (11:14) Stevens Gulch TH — 2:14:39 (10:23; 1:44:26 TH–TH) Chimney — 2:30:34 (15:55) Strava: www.strava.com/activities/649723554Scott Spillman
