I am attempting to run/walk in July of this year from Tallahassee, Fla to Chattanooga, Tn. I will have a support crew traveling with me. I have seen where there's been many people cross GA west to east or east to west. But I haven't seen where anyone has gone south to north or north to cross through the entire state of GA. Does anyone know of previous attempts from Fla to Tn? I will be mainly on Hwy 41 and all on road, no trails. The route I'm going will be around 420 total miles but only 390ish from Fla to Tn lines. I hope to do it around 8 days or 50 miles or so a day. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. By the way, this is a fundraiser for the Carter Hope Center, a drug treatment center, in Dalton, Ga.

Kind of an old thread, but fellow vol stater Richard Westbrook has run GA north/south twice, if I have my story straight...once on hwy 41 and once on 441. You may have to hunt down his phone number to ask him, not sure hes up on the latest technologies
