Nothing ultra about the distance but, a unique opportunity for anyone in the area or passing by. Hancock, MD is home to the narrowest pinch in the state. Barely 2.5 miles wide. While on a road trip I noticed the minuscule gap and hopped out of the car, laced up and took off. Using 2-way radios, my fiance directed me turn by turn (I think there are three turns but, always awesome when you can use radios). Only a few mentions on other sites of others who have made the attempt. I ran NOBO (which is slightly uphill the whole time) and set the FKT, to my knowledge. Has anyone else run this?
