The Lee Valley Way is a 53 mile route along the Lee (or Lea) River from its source in Leagrave, Luton to Leamouth at East India Dock, where it runs into the River Thames. I am about to attempt an FKT along it and in all my research have been unable to find any account of a previous attempt at an FKT. Has anyone heard of an FKT for this route before?

To add to my last post I have just completed the Lee Valley Way in 9 hours 31 minutes 32 seconds. Due to some poor signage and getting lost the total mileage was 55.6 as opposed to the expected 53.

This is my haunt and what love to try this. I know the route very well from Hertford to London but west of Hertford is quite new to me and looks a bit messy. I know the path from Hertford to Welwyn but that is nowhere near the river. Are you a local Mick?

Use this link for maps: tfl.gov.uk/modes/walking/lea-valleyThe signage is all pretty clear apart from between Welwyn and Hertford. It is a good idea to take the maps though or I can give you my gps route to download onto a watch. Here is my data from strava: www.strava.com/activities/661281045I've also attached my photos from the beginning and end of the run. Attachments:
