Does anyone know what the FKT is for this peak?
I'd assume the route would start from the Piedra Grande Hut and follow the standard route to the summit.

This peak is more commonly known as Orizaba. Having looked into this recently, the FKT seems to be 2h10 from hut to summit, combined with 2h20 from the town of Tlachichuca to the hut by bike, by Hector Ponce De Leon. www.alpineexpeditions.net/about-us.html

On march 20 I ran the north face (normal) route on orizaba. I started at the piedra Grande hut, summited and returned to the hut via the route. This is the most popular route on the mountain and is likely to see most future fkt attempts. I reached the summit in 2hrs and 2 minutes, then descended back to the Refugio in 46 minutes, for a total time of 2:48:16. I will post a link soon to a report with photos and videos and more info once complete.

Wow! Did you use track spikes or something for the glacier?

Wow! Did you use track spikes or something for the glacier? I was able to get up,and down in my kahtoola microspikes. I had my crampons in my pack in case but was able to side step amd axe my way up without them.
