Very cool. summitpost.com has more info on this peak. It says, in part, "Right in the middle of the Kreuzkamm, a 10 km long ridge extending northeast from the main ridge of the Ă–tztal Alps, lies the Kreuzspitze. With an elevation of 3457m, it's the highest peak on the ridge, and it should be no surprise that the views from the top are magnificent." The ascent from Vent involves about 1550m of climbing. Jiri did the ascent in 2h18m. His gps track indicates a total of 21.8km to reach the summit and return.

I have to say I was very lucky (not planned) on weather. And the visibility was magnificent. Here's one of few pictures I snapped before I started descending.
