Hello, does anyone know the FKT for the Teton Crest Trail, specifically, from Phillips Pass Trailhead on Teton Pass to STring Lake via Paintbrush Canyon. I have spoken to Trevor Garner who has an unrecorded time of 8hrs. 10 minutes. Thanks, Scotsman.

Date: Wednesday, July 29th, 2015 Start: Trailhead kiosk at Phillips Pass Trailhead approx 50 yards off of Hwy 22. Finish: North String Lake parking/picnic area (via Holly Lake spur on descent from Paintbrush Divide and via the turnoff to the North String Lake area that crosses the bridge between Leigh Lake and String Lake). Mileage: 39.8 miles Elevation Gain: 9,238 feet Total Elapsed Time: 7hrs, 57 min, 41 sec.
I've always considered 8 hours as "the goal". Ran a 8:10 back in August of 2010, moved away for a while, then moved back to the mountains and was able to focus on the TCT again. Finally got it under 8 hours. Barely. I think I've got a 7:45 in me by the end of the summer. I'm sure someone else out there has sub-7 potential...

Did you attempt Teton Crest Trail FKT? How did it go? I like your Phillips Pass Trailhead start, which is not always the case. Happy running. Thanks, Jakub

I couldn't really find much about people doing this, but I did find one guy that had done it in 8 hrs 10 min. I had the opportunity to run it yesterday and came in at 7 hrs 43 min. I started from the Phillips Pass trailhead at 7:09 AM and finished at the String Lake trailhead at 2:53. I'd love to see people chime in about the times they have gotten on this trail.

TDOG,
I ran the trail a couple weeks ago, and have been posting in this thread that Peter moved to a more appropriate place. The only time I saw before running was your 8:10 and I came in at 7:43

Does anyone have a GPX file for this Route? Also how much scrambling is there?
