I am wondering who has the FKT for the Wapack Trail (in southern NH). I know they have annual out-and-back races. The trail should be something like 21.4 miles one way. Curious to see who has the one-way, and out-and-back FKTs (I am nowhere near a FKT with completing the one-way in 6:50).

Unless someone else has done it faster than the course records set during the springtime race, David Herr has the one-way FKT in 3:22:29. Not sure, but Josh Katzman probably has the out and back FKT from South to North and back to South. During the 2013 race he ran an 8:51:34, which included a 7.5 mile out and back section to make up the total of 50 miles. The female FKTs (again, which were probably set during the race) are: Kristina Folcik-Welts in 3:57:29 for the 21.5 miler, and out and back (which includes an additional 7.5 miles) in 10:53:02.

Hey Jesse - I was cruising around here and it inspired me to look at the splits from the 2013 race. Looks like the out-and-back split was either 7:41:24 or 7:43:47. I THINK it was probably the 7:41, as I took a couple minutes in the aid station to psych up for those last miles and the little dot on the Garmin track isn't really moving between those times. Reckon someone can take the 50-mile time sub-8:00 on a really special day.

Thomas Thompson bested David Herr's former record of a 1 way FKT by a couple minutes at this year's Wapack and Back dropping the record to 3:19:36

I ran the trail recently south-to-north and came out close to 23M. Is the 21.5 figure along the old route that does not skirt the ski property in New Ipswich?
