Easy one to beat! "Cadillac doubleback" Acadia NP cadillac entrance on 233 to kebo mtn trail to north ridge trail to cadillac summit to south ridge trail to route 3 and back. approx 3000' elevation gain. approx 12 mi (I have an old garmin 305, doesn't measure distance with elevation well). Did today with icy conditions on north ridge in 2hrs 37mins.

I ran the same course (and in the same direction) "donnacha10" did on 8/9/2014 in 2:00.44. Below is the Garmin Connect data for such. This is a fun and challenging traverse with great views of the ocean and surrounding islands!

I lowered the FKT yesterday to 1:48.44. I have run this twice now, and the timing of my run yesterday was the best time of the day / year to do such. My last run (see above post) was in the summer and in the mid-afternoon, and Acadia NP is very busy at that time of the year. During mid-April the park isn't officially open yet, and the locals aren't out yet in the early morning, thus, the trails were free of people and mostly clean save for a few patches of ice.
