Bay de Noc-Grand Island Trail

Does anyone know if a fastest known time exists for the Bay de Noc-Grand Island Trail. It is a National Recreation Trail and extends from Rapid River 42 miles north to M-94 in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I would make this FKT extend out from Lake Michigan to Lake Superior (~ 50 miles, but exact distance would be determined in advanced scouting).

We hiked it literally from Lake Michigan to Lake Superior a few years ago in 21.5 hours but I'm sure it could be done quicker. Here's the link to story of our hike:
