Please provide more information. What does "wmnf redline" mean? What state is this in? What guidebook? People can't tell anything from your post. What is this adventure and why is it significant?

Since the OP doesn't seem to be around, I'll answer your questions. WMNF = White Mountain National Forest (New Hampshire) AMC = Appalachian Mountain Club redline = taking the AMC maps of the Whites and marking all trails with red marker until you've done every last one. However, I can't vouch for the veracity of the distance nor whether this is a FKT. I know others have redlined it, but probably in years mostly. The "rules" are discussed a bit on this thread: www.vftt.org/forums/showthread.php?54436-Irene-Closures-amp-Redlining-rules&highlight=redline

Typically a redliner will take one edition of the AMC Guidebook and do all trails listed in that particular edition, since they change each time. www.48x12.com/red-lining/finishers.phpMr Hickey does appear to be a finisher on that date and I'm pretty sure he's the FKT if his dates are accurate. I doubt anyone else has done it in less than a calendar year.
