Two Laps: I ran a two lap go at a hard pace yesterday, south ridge for everything: Lap 1: 19:53 up (from parking area on north side of Mapleton) / 9:09 down (bridge) = 29:02 Lap 2: 20:50 up (from bridge) / 10:07 down (parking area on north side of Mapleton) = 30:57 Total: 0:59:59 (yikes that was close!) Strava somehow bumped me all the way down to a 57:38, but I think the segments start well beyond Mapleton. Granted I didn't actually start and at the pavilion each time necessarily, but I think from anywhere Mapleton is more than fair. I think this can definitely go faster, specifically those ascents -- I would at least like to get it a bit more comfortably underneath 1:00! Strava: www.strava.com/activities/1363577949/overview

I am curious in some clarification regarding where and what the "bridge" is, at it effects the status of my time today. I ran 26:26 RT on the south ridge measured from the end of the concrete at the shelter which I think has some sort of "bridge" quality. I ran 25:27 RT if measured from the well used wooden bridge a tad further up the trail. This would also have effected my previous post for two laps. Personally, I think the paved bridge off of the pavilion makes the most sense, but the argument could be also made for the wooden bridge as so many other access points funnel to it. Conveniently, both of these times are definitively above or below Mackey's; if I don't have it now I'll be back soon! Here is my Strava file: www.strava.com/activities/1398168333

It’s definitely the bridge by the picnic shelter.
