Hi all,
I have been thinkng lately (for a long time actually) about trying to run the road from Asmara to Massawa in Eritrea. I am thinking of trying to organise this for Novemberish when the temperature difference between the two is most bearable. I am expecting due to the quality of the road and speed of drivers I may need an escort on some of it. And I may even not get permission as the government may not grant it - a visa normally only allows you in Asmara. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has experience dealing with authorities, organising this kind of thing or any other tips.
