Hello,
I completed a solo and self supported transcontinental crossing in 2014 in 91 days. At the time I was trying to beat the Guinness Record but they do not distinguish between supported and self supported. Someone told me that I may be able to submit documentation here to claim a Self Supported FKT. How would I go about that process? I have Spot files saved somewhere and The whole trip was photo documented on Facebook with official send offs at San Francisco and NY City Halls. Do you have a record for Female Self Supported? I believe that Zoey Romano and I are the only two to cross without support. Thank you!

Hello Peter! Thanks for the response. I ran from San Francisco City Hall on 4/16/2014 and arrived at NYC City Hall on 7/15/2014. I was raising funds for the Brain Injury association and they tracked me and maintained a website: biausa.donorpages.com/forwardmotion/ I also maintained a Facebook page where I tried to post photos and updates daily. www.facebook.com/JessicaGoldmanForwardMotion/ (I continue to blog on that site but the history of the transcon is well documented there) I also did several news interviews on the road. I sold my Spot tracker but If I dig around I know that I saved the files somewhere if you would like me to submit somehow. The USA crossers website has not been maintained very well but I am unaware of any other self supported crossings by women since then. Unfortunately they stopped updating the website once I was on the road. Here is the list of historical crossings, the only 3 women to cross self supported are Zoey ROmano, Whitney Henderson and myself. Guiness required that transcon record crossings all start and end from either San Francisco or LA City hall to NY City Hall, but I do not know how FKT guidlines will work on that topic. (Here is the list of prior crossings from 1909-2012) www.usacrossers.com/ and here is another list of crossers that STILL has me listed as on the road despite many emails to the site admin who has stopped updating it. www.usacrossers.com/ I have the self satisfaction of knowing that I did it but it would be great to have the special validation of a FKT! Let me know how to go about the process of submitting. Thank you, Jessica Goldman
