On 8/7/16 at 9:28 am I left my vehicle at Icicle Ridge th with the goal to reach my bike that I cached at Steven pass near the highway in some trees. The 43 mile section of trail from Icicle Ridge trailhead in Leavenworth to the junction of Chain/Doelle lakes and Icicle creek trail required 26 hours and 8 minutes of my time, (the bike section went undocumented) of the crux sections- cabin creek valley ( Icicle ridge trail) overgrown, steep sections in and out also near Carter lake the trail dissapears in a meadow. I ended up going through the most epic portions- right on the crest in the pitch black of night. Some navigational challenges and cold (wetside washington) weather made for a memorable outing. I promptly ordered a hot drink and ate some food at the stevens pass store that was open. Boderline hypothermia is not cool ( it's cold!) but seriously after warming up somewhat I eventually pedaled back to the th (Icicle ridge). www.movescount.com/moves/move117780086

Nice! But the link goes to the Graves Creek route - which is another "fun" one - but not the route you describe. I would love to see Leavenworth to Stevens route when you get a chance! I did a similar but I believe shorter route ( Chiwaukum Traverse with bike shuttle) and it'd be fun to compare notes.
