Hi everybody, while searching info on the GR221 that runs across the balearic island of Mallorca, Spain, I stumbled upon a Strava post by James Poole, saying he has set an (obviously self-supported?) FKT on that Trail on May 13th/14th, 2017: www.strava.com/athletes/100851/posts/559232blog.strava.com/galleries/mallorca-fkt/Here is the Strava file, that puts the total time to 29:12 www.strava.com/activities/985805351/overviewObviously he carried a Spot tracker, too, but I'm not sure, if this track is available, too. The two Strava-posts contain some pictures, shot by a professional photographer. Has anybody more info on this one? Edit: In this forum poole himself confirms it was self-suported as he bought drinks along the way as often as possible: disqus.com/home/discussion/strava/mallorca_fkt/Cheers Bob

Bob,
I'm the guy who tried to keep up and find James along the route. I can hand on heart vouch that he did this self-supported. The route in parts was up to him to find - it was unmarked in large parts due to land disputes etc.
His strava data is pretty useful as well as the spot tracker, in fact it was more use to me trying to find him than the spot tracker.
Give it a go. I'll be following eagerly!
James
