I'm currently working at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and am looking at attempting an FKT of Wheeler Peak sometime this summer. I plan on running from the Williams Lake trailhead, which is only about 7 miles and is much shorter than the Bull-of-the-Woods trail. I haven't seen any information about an established FKT on either route so it's more of a First Known Time because I've been hiking more than running. I haven't set aside any dates to attempt the FKT but will do it later this summer when I get my next day off. If anyone has any more information about an FKT that does exist or any advice on the route I would greatly appreciate it.
